Prevention of diabetes

If you have a family history or other risk factors for diabetes or if you have been diagnosed with prediabetes, there are a number of healthy living tips you can follow to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes. Currently, type 1 diabetes is not preventable. However, studies have shown that type 2 diabetes can be prevented by adopting lifestyle changes that include by losing weight, eating a healthy diet and exercising. Through our Metanoia Newhealth Programme we can prevent or postpone diabetes.
